Last years U16 boys held their medal presentations today in the club. Their ‘Shenick’ footballers won the U16A Shield beating some on the tops names in Division 1 football along the way. Skerries Harps last won this particular shield 5 years ago when this years U21 footballers won it. That U21 team went on to win the A Championship this year so hopefully the future fairs well for this bunch.

The ‘Colt’ (B) hurlers received their medals for runners up in the league. Indeed, 2021 was the first time that Skerries Harps had fielded 2 teams at U16 hurling and to win medals was an added boost for hurling in the club.

The lads enjoyed the prize-giving celebrations followed by food, drinks & a few games of pool in the clubhouse.

This squad has been helped out by last years U15’s and a huge thanks is owed to them too. Another example of what club support can do.
